CIVA is called to creative work, devoted to the church, and present in culture.
The CIVA Network is for members to further the mission of CIVA by connecting and building relationships with each other. CIVA encourages Christians in the visual arts to develop their particular callings to excellence; learn how to deal with specific problems in the field without compromising our faith and our standard of artistic endeavor; provide opportunities for sharing work and ideas; foster intelligent understanding, a spirit of trust, and a cooperative relationship between those in the arts, the Church, and culture; and ultimately, establish a Christian presence within the secular art world.
In the CIVA Network, we can share what we are working on, what we are struggling with, what conferences or exhibits we are hosting or attending, as well as providing a forum to the conversations which further our vocations as Christians in the visual arts.
Access to the CIVA Network is a benefit of CIVA membership. Not a CIVA member? Learn more and join at civa.org/membership..
